Site Redesign Assignment

For this assignment, you will revise a website of your own choosing. This can be your own website, a website for a real life client, or you can The only requirements of the site are that it contains several pages and that it serves a realistic rhetorical purpose.

Project requirements

Your page redesign should appear at:

http://hu.mtu.edu/~yourusername/5

In addition, your pages should all have the following document type declaration (DTD):

You are not required to use Dreamweaver for this assignment, but this project is an excellent opportunity to become familiar with Dreamweaver's site management capabilities.

Project evaluation

The evaluation for this project will be simple. In addition to presenting well-written HTML and CSS code, Your website should:

load sucessfully on a multitude of browsers (it doesn't have to appear identical across browsers, but it shouldn't "break.");
use appropriate development, visual design, and rhetorical strategies, as they are appropriate to your rhetorical situation; and
to the best of your ability, earn sucessful validation from the W3C validator service, available at http://validator.w3.org/. (This is a request, not a requirement).
